I wanted to take a moment to speak directly to you—not as a program director, but as someone who truly cares about the experience your child has had this season.

Thank you for trusting me, and the entire team at the Indianapolis Healthplex, with your child’s growth through the game of basketball and cheerleading. Youth sports are about so much more than wins and losses. They’re about confidence, teamwork, resilience, and learning how to show up for yourself and for others. Watching these young athletes grow—on and off the court—has been incredibly meaningful.

I also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our volunteer coaches. Your time, patience, and passion are the backbone of this program. Without your willingness to step up and lead, we simply could not offer positive, affordable, and impactful opportunities for our youth. What you’ve given these kids will stick with them far beyond this season.

As we look ahead, we’re excited to continue creating spaces where kids can learn, grow, and have fun. Coming up next, we’ll be offering:

• Youth Flag Football

• Back to the Basics Volleyball Clinic

• Spring Youth Volleyball League

We would love to see your families continue this journey with us and stay involved in our youth sports community.

We’re excited to share that the Men’s League playoff bracket will be released tomorrow at 12:00 PM.

As a reminder, all fines must be paid in full in order to be eligible for playoff participation. Teams or players with outstanding balances at the time of bracket release will not be included.

Please be sure to review your account and resolve any outstanding fines as soon as possible to avoid any issues.

Good afternoon Parents & Guardians,

We wanted to take a moment to share an important update regarding our Youth Basketball and Cheerleading season.

This Saturday will be the final Saturday of games for the season. We truly appreciate everyone’s patience and flexibility throughout the past few weeks.

We also want to sincerely apologize for the delay in communication. Playbook should have automatically sent an email notification when games were rescheduled due to the inclement weather we experienced on January 24–25, and unfortunately that message did not go out as intended.

As a reminder, medals will be distributed this Saturday as well, so please be sure your athlete is present to celebrate their hard work and accomplishments this season.

Thank you all for your understanding, continued support, and for being such a great part of our youth sports community. We look forward to closing out the season strong and celebrating a fun and successful year with our athletes and families.

This is a reminder that there are several individuals and teams with outstanding language fines currently on their accounts.

All language fines must be paid in full by the end of the regular season (February 15th). Please be aware of the following:

• Any team with unpaid fines at the conclusion of the regular season will not be permitted to participate in the playoffs.

• Outstanding balances that remain unpaid will be sent to collections.

Please keep an eye on your email, as I will be following up directly with teams and individuals to provide details on any outstanding balances.

If you believe this notice was sent in error or have questions regarding your account, feel free to reach out as soon as possible so we can address it before the regular season concludes.

Due to the upcoming winter storm warning and in the interest of everyone’s safety, all Youth Basketball, Youth Cheerleading, and Adult Basketball games scheduled for this weekend have been postponed.

Just a friendly reminder that Indianapolis Healthplex Game Night is TONIGHT at Gainbridge Fieldhouse! We’re excited to cheer on the Pacers together and hope to see many of you there for a fun night downtown.

Looking ahead—tomorrow, Saturday, January 17th, is the first official day of games for the Youth Cheerleading and Basketball League 🎉 We can’t wait to kick off the season!

A few important reminders as we begin:

• Seating is limited, so please do not reserve seats by placing personal items on chairs.

• No food or drinks are allowed on the court during games.

  • Exception: water bottles are permitted for players only.

• Attached to this email are the league rules. Please take time to read them carefully and ensure your family understands our expectations.

Our league is focused on learning, development, and teaching fundamentals, and we appreciate your support in helping us create a positive environment for all participants.

It’s a great way for our kids and families to be recognized and celebrate all their hard work!
